Ya. Ft. Stewart is a pretty busy Army Post, but the town of Hinesville is not exactly as exciting as Pensacola. The closest bookstore is Savannah (about 45 miles), there are a couple of movie theatres, parks and a YMCA. As you might expect in a town near a major military post, there are numerous fast food chains of all kinds and a decent variety of restaurants (German, Korean, Japanese, Jamaican, Mexican, and local.) This first weekend I am geting acquainted with Hinesville and Ft. Stewart. Next weekend I am going to Savannah to get a little culture.
